Amazing morning. I enjoy the sun and wind on my skin. Sat on the beach with the fine cool sand under my feet worshipping God, walking along the beach praying, before settling down to read His word, journal and pray with Shirley.
It’s amazing being surrounded by God’s beauty and splendor. It’s like being romanced by the First Lover, my First Lover.
Dark clouds were looming. Yet beyond those clouds, the sunlight pierced through with radiant rays. Quite a moment for me. It spoke of hope. That beyond the darkness, God is still there. We can’t see Him, but He’s there. His light never wavers, guiding us as a lamp unto our paths. Be patient. The storms will pass.
Last night, I shared with Min my journey of darkness. That it was in darkness that I found God. Ever peer into the sky on a cloudless night littered with stars? The stars are crisp in their brightness. In the darkness, the stars shine the brightest. In the darkness, we will find clarity. Just be still and let your eyes adjust to the darkness. Soon in the distance a faint light will grow stronger. Just follow this light.
My prayer this morning is found in this song
He is Lovely
I can see that you love Jesus first
It’s plain to see
And that you sit close and hear his heartbeat
For in your eyes I see shining love
That speaks so clear
And I can hear them singing so sweetly
He is lovely, He is holy
Gave supremely that all men might see
He is gentle, tenderhearted
Risen Saviour, He is Lord
Master, maker, life creator
Come and dwell in me
That my heart may know your tender mercy
Shine through me that all may see your love
So full and free
And I’ll declare your praise through endless ages
