This morning, after going through the motion of tending to the dogs and washing up, I slowly awakened as I walked into my room, sat on my chair and prayed myself into consciousness. haha! Felt really good to lay every burden at God’s feet even before the toil of the day begins. This song came to mind "I trade these ashes in for beauty… I lay every burden down at the foot of the cross…" Instead of nursing it (whatever "it" maybe for you), I wanna run daily to God and cast it all unto Him. And I know I will only grow stronger and not faint.
I am or rather my black heels are the envy of some of my friends and colleagues. But looks like I gotta throw them out. They keep breaking my skin each time it heals (no pun intended). Don’t want calluses. Hardened skin is not pretty. Pretty heels may not necessarily be good. So byebye Black Heels. Hao kan mei you yong!
