God’s intervention

Reading a devotional article for QT this morning reminded me of a very tough event last year. I had thought I would never walk out of the tunnel, convinced that there was no light at the end of the tunnel. The bleakness and darkness gave me only hoplessness and helplessness.
Then one day, God intervened. By a miraculous stroke of His hand, I was delivered.
The pain was real and could only be eased with God’s intervention. So that we will come to draw strength from Him, to declare that He is our deliverer. So that we will know our God intimately.
Continue to praise Him in the bleakest and darkest. He alone knows when you are ready. God did not remove the cup from Jesus as he cried out. God gave him strength to carry his cross to fulfill a grander purpose. To glorify the Father doing His will. For Jesus to return to His First Glory, to the rightful place beside God. I like what the article said that our trials are not senseless but designed.
God had delivered him when the time was right. God will deliver you. Hang in there.
"In your trial, you may be on a dark road. You may be momentarily weighed down, figuratively changing a tire. You may even get a little lost along the way. But, look to Christ! Tomorrow will be brighter. You may still need the surgery, but you can relax in that sunshine knowing that God is in control of all things and that He has a loving purpose for you. You may have 150 miles to go before you reach the goal of your trial, but you can reflect upon the goodness and grace of God along the way."
Daily I run to Him. I pray that His word, His love will saturate you and I. Let the Holy Spirit bring you comfort.
‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, said the Lord.’
