Ah Jo
Jo, whom I sometimes call Qiu Yi, is my best friend. I don’t think we go by a day & night without talking to, smsing, msning each other, other than the weekends she abandons me to go diving. HAHA!
Our friendship has been one of the anchors in my life. It holds me together.
I’ve been sitting here in the last 30 min trying to describe just how much Jo and our friendship mean to me. Each descriptive phrase seems to describe poorly just how. I will say it plainly. I love you, Jo. You are my best friend. A touch of heaven for me. A friend tailored by God to hear my heartbeat; to share my joys and sorrows, and breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and sometimes suppers; to blade with, and to journey with in our walks with God; to enjoy a deep mutual respect, admiration, affection for each other; to do spontaneous things with each other; to complete each other’s sentences and sometimes derail each other’s train of thoughts; to put on weight together (and to lose it hopefully soon); to sit in silence with hearing the rain fall onto the ground; to share deep thoughts and frivolous ones with; to laugh with to jokes only we both understand; to just spend the time with each other, highlight being the company and not the activities. With you, there are no expectations to fulfill. With you, I am myself, my best and worst self. I am accepted. I am cherished. I am me, but only a better me, because you are my friend, my best friend.
I love you Jo. If you were a man, I would have married you! hahaha! So Mr I you still have a chance. hahaha!
