Had 2 games of bowling, went to the gym (timing improved YAY!), popped into the arcade and tried my hands (legs rather) on the Dance Mixer before heading off to late dinner at Yoshi (Sushi Tei and Hanabi were closing by then). Oh saw a silver SLK 200 and we parked beside it! It’s indeed gorgeous! I would love to hear the engine hum! We went into Dempsey Road to admire St George’s Church. It’s beautiful. Would have loved to explore the place around on foot some night.
Read some more of Waking the Dead. El
dredge made it very clear to his readers that we are in a battle. If we don’t see our lives as a war a lot of what the bible says does not make sense; in fact our lives won’t make sense. Satan cannot bear the glory we are reflecting from God. We are beautiful, powerful, glorious. the heart of Satan is vile and his plan is to steal our hearts, and anything else he can, our mind, our health, so that he can kill and destroy us. He would make us believe we are not worthy; anything to prevent us from living a victorious life in abundance. How to differentiate then among the voices of our flesh, Satan and God. "Any word or suggestion that brings discouragement, condemnation, accusation–that is not from God," suggested Eldredge, "…the voice of God is never harsh or accusing. His conviction brings a desire for repentance; Satan’s accusation kills our hearts (2 Cor 7:10)."
Going to unwind now. Nites.
