Some gems I got from The Rock today:
Man learn to pursue a woman by yielding to God’s pursuit.
Things of the world are attractive but none truly satisfies. Only God’s love satisfies. Illusion of Hollywood lifestyle—the desire for the biggest, latest, but they don’t fulfill the god-sized void in us. It becomes a chase for nothing.
Faith has nothing to do with feelings. Believe and we shall see. Faith is based on our vision of Jesus: what we perceive is what we believe. Those who have a greater vision of Jesus have a propensity for greater happiness for He is our exceeding joy.
All we desire is found in Jesus—the deepest intimacy, the fullest satisfaction. He fulfills all desires in our heart.
A life of rest and not of toil. Made possible by the grace of God. The grace of God covers us in our lack.
